The formula cuts through those mineral deposits and leaves a protective film that slows the next build-up, and it is safe for fish and plants and usable on both glass and acrylic. The 237 ml bottle has a trigger spray. It is a cleaner for aquarium surfaces, not a water treatment: spray it on the surface, not into the tank.

Spray onto the surface or a cloth and wipe — this is a surface cleaner, not something to add to the water.

Is it safe to use on a stocked tank?

Yes — the formula is safe for fish and plants, which is exactly why it exists: household glass cleaners contain ammonia and surfactants that will kill livestock from the fumes alone, let alone a drip into the water. Spray Safe & Easy onto the glass, the hood or a cloth and wipe the deposits away; on the inside of the front pane, wipe above the water line and rinse the cloth in tank water rather than the sink. It works on glass and acrylic, and the coating it leaves means the white crust takes longer to come back. For algae under the water, use the Algae Scraper instead.

Removes the white line ordinary cleaners cannot

Evaporating water leaves calcium and magnesium behind as a hard white crust along the water line, on cover glass and around fittings. Safe & Easy dissolves those deposits so they wipe off, rather than needing to be scraped.
